Geoff Macdonald - Property Development
Geoff is a property professional with broad
industry experience. A consultant for almost eight years, Geoff has also spent
fifteen years with Tesco and Asda as Property Director, and six years working
for local government. Primarily a retail expert, Geoff identifies
proactive planning strategies to allow retailers to secure their development
aspirations and increase the value of their property portfolios.
During his retail career Geoff secured planning consent for more than 270 superstores and hypermarkets and over 400,000m2 of non-retail premises. His experience of corporate acquisitions and property portfolio evaluation has enabled Tesco and Asda to develop new format strategies. Geoff takes a strategic viewpoint regarding Real Estate development, yet he retains the ability to understand and deal with the detail.
