As an experienced Procurement Buying Manager with a wealth of Retail Development and Operational skills, John Page is able to provide Retail Innovations clients with buying and specification skills, together with the development of cost effective, practical retail solutions.

John has 30 years experience in retail gained through a variety of assignments with Sainsbury’s. Solutions focussed, with strong facilitation and relationship building skills, John responds well to working to tight deadlines and budgets whilst working and managing cross functionally.

By harnessing his retail experience gained whilst managing over forty new store openings, together with a knowledge of manufacturing processes he is able to develop equipment and solutions to withstand the rigour of the retail environment.

John has recently led a number of savings and specification challenges yielding over £10m in capital savings. By focussing and challenging total lifecycle costs including store labour, maintenance and energy consumption, he has had major impact in reducing total ownership costs for retail.
